PERSONAL TRAININGHow Do I Get Started?Everyone who is interested in beginning a personal training program with me receives a free initial fitness evaluation. This session lasts about one hour, and is your opportunity to express your fitness goals, so that we can develop the program right for you. After reviewing your goals and exercise history, we will take your starting measurements. These measurements are highly encouraged, but if hopping on the scale the first day is beyond your comfort level, we can postpone measurements for a later date. Once your initial measurements are taken, I'll take you through a brief workout so we can determine your current level of conditioning. What's Included in Personal Training???Every tool you need to reach your goals! Aside from designing your exercise program and taking you step-by-step through your workouts, I keep myself available for you throughout the day - whether you need a question answered or just need some motivation to do your cardio for the day. My phone is always on - Remember, results don't come solely from a few hours of exercise at the gym each week. By exercising, eating and sleeping properly, you are essentially training 24 hours per day. Once you realize this, nothing will prevent you from reaching your goals! If this sounds a bit overwhelming to you, you're not alone - that's why I remain available to help you every step of the way. The exact nature of your training session will depend on your unique goals, but will typically begin with a weigh-in once per week and a brief discussion of your progress. Then I will guide you through your workout, making sure you maintain perfect form, use the proper resistance, and exercise at the correct intensity.
